The AEV picture looks to me like a right-hand drive TJ, or it has been mirror-imaged in PhotoChop.

I've run across a company importing an MVM/International 2.8L I4 turbo diesel from Brazil. They're asking $5,800 plus shipping for brand new engines.

The website is Old British Wheels.

Seems very comparable to the 2.8 CRD used in the Liberty.

Are the emissions rules for an engine swap determined by the year of the vehicle getting the new engine? I've read most places that the engine must be as new or newer than the vehicle.
