Mine is a 54" they make a 50" too.

The front bumper has 4 tabs on it; two on the bumper itself and two on the top of the top hoop.
The two on top are fairly close together, because the hoop's not that big.

BlackJack got a hanson 60". He was supposed to install it this weekend, I haven't asked if he got it in yet. You might ask him how it went. It's a tough looking bumper.

That's good to know. Whatever I end up getting, I'll get a shorty version of it.

Sorry guys, no pix yet. My new job is sucking up all my time.

I did do the rear bumper (Cassidy Custom) last weekend & I expect to do the Hanson front this weekend. If it would stop raining for a few minutes I could actually get some pictures of both.

It rains in Seattle? Big Grin

I'm in bed sick now cause I was out in the rain two days ago working on mine. Frown

Does the rear look awesome?
I can't believe the world of difference mine made when I installed it. If I lived closer I'd help put on that front one.

I think I'd be willing to work in the rain if I had the money to do some of the mods I want.

Hey Bobk, did you do any research on Durango 4X4's bumpers? I'm trying to figure out what I think about their stuff.

Dennis,

Yep, I looked at them. They are cool (in the Warn bumper kinda way). I couldn't use that style bumper because I am way over the legal limit to drive on the road in Michigan. I would like to have gotten the Durango because it adds sooooo much clearance, but I needed the Body Armor with receiver and hoop under the receiver to get as close to the pavement as I could. As it turns out I'm still 8" too high.

I'd say if your looking at Durango don't be afraid to pull the trigger, they rock.

Well Missouri has a bumper hieght law as well. I can't remember all the particulars. I now it's based on the GVWR. I see a lot of rigs that are way over the limit but I don't think they get hasseled over it. That's not to say they wouldn't get a ticket on their height if they were to get pulled over for something else though. I've kinda got myself convinced that I like the Road Armor rear bumper with SOC. I'm not too sure what I think about their corner gaurds. The biggest reason I like them is due to the fact it looks like their bumper might protect the rear corners a little better than some of the others I like. Having an LJ, those corners stick out more, ya know what I mean? But, RA is by far the most expensive that I like.

Of course it's the most expensive, that's the American way. If you want it, it will be the most expensive there is. Caviar taste on a pork-n-bean budget. Smile
I can remember a time when everything I wanted seemd to be about $250.00, it was frustrating. I wish there was at least ONE thing I wanted now that was only $250.

No one (other than other wheelers) has noticed my 8" infraction. I'm pretty sure if I had gone with the Durango everyone would have noticed my 16" over height.

Michigan splits their catagories into two basic categories: commercial and passenger vehicles. Passenger vehicle bumpers can be "No more than 22 inches from ground." Frown
