I love Jeep trucks and have had several in the past.

My wife better hope that Jeep doesn't come out with that truck, cause if they do, I'm gonna be the first in line to buy one!

well duh! Wink

Hey Mike, do you know if DCX will build a prototype like they did with the Rescue? Or will be just be stuck drooling over some fancy CG pics? Do you know if it's fullsize, ala the Rescue, or something more along the lines of a TJ-sized vehicle?

Sweet. It's got the M715 look to it. Full-size with cummins diesel would sell like hotcakes. BTW, the spare tire location is better than current truck. You don't have to crawl under the truck to get to it.

I don't like computer generated drawings. It leaves too much room for distortion. What are the chances that a full size spare tire will fit between the extended cab and the fender flares? I don't mean a 28" spare, we're talking a spare that won't make the thing teeter. Oh, it can't rub on either surface, either.

A real one is supposed to be at the Detroit auto show, can't remember where I read that. I think we're looking at the front of the next gen wrangler, has same windshield profile and dimensions would seem to line up. I would also like a bigger truck so I could actually use it to tow, if that's wrangler size (which it appears to be) it probably won't be able to tow much more than the current unlimited.

If it's going to be powered with the 2.8L 4-cylinder turbodiesel, it almost certainly will be a TJ-sized truck.

There's some more information on this over at The Car Connection. Check out the Daily Editions for the last few days -- can't remember which one had this listed.
