Anyone know anything about the buggies that Rhino offroad build. I was looking into building something similar but have some questions. First they use a 2.0 Honda motor and AT, mounted sideways so one axle goes to the front and the other to the back. The axles now work as the driveshafts. So my question is this, unless they lock the diff inside the tranny somehow, then they would have either the front tires pulling or the rear tires pulling. Never both at the same time right?? Question #2 Can you change the gearing in the tranny dif. to get a better crawl ratio? please help.

I've been wanting to look into this.
I do know a local comp buggy runs a Saturn (of all things) drivetrain like this. They are actually pretty successful with it. Whaley Ent, They were on the Spike Extreme 4x4 with it a while back. I think they just lincoln locked the center diff on that one though. Jason 1997 TJ 4.0L AW4 D44/Super 8.8 35x12.5 KM2, Onboard Air Gen II AiRock/Longarms PRR Inc, Because rocks can't drive |

Welding the spider gears so they don't move.Normally done with a Lincoln Stick Welder.
That one took me a while also. Jason 1997 TJ 4.0L AW4 D44/Super 8.8 35x12.5 KM2, Onboard Air Gen II AiRock/Longarms PRR Inc, Because rocks can't drive |
