I got my hands on the 2006 Jeep Jamboree Schedule yesterday and passed it on to a few of my Jeepin’ buddies with high traffic websites…

My friend Mike, from Mike's Totally Free Jeep News already has the dates posted on his site.

Here is a link to the dates: http://www.jeepnewsnow.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=878

There have been some changes added to the format to make selected events a bit less expensive to attend this year. Check it Out!

“Classic” vs. “Just Trails” Jamborees

There will be a new twist for 2006. Each Jamboree will be designated either a “Classic” or “Just Trails” Jamboree. Both the “Just Trails” and “Classic” Jamborees will be clearly marked with distinctive icons in the 2006 Jeep Jamboree USA Guidebook and on our web site jeepjamboreeusa.com.

“CLASSIC” Jamborees feature full meal service for the entire trip. In addition to the traditional Friday and Saturday night dinner get-togethers, “Classic” Jamborees provide guests with a hot breakfast as well as a trail lunch on Friday and Saturday, plus and continental breakfast on Sunday. “Classic” Jamborees are perfect for Jeepers who don’t want to worry about preparing or planning meals - it’s all included! Just look for this fork and knife icon to identify “Classic” Jamborees.

”JUST TRAILS” Jamborees are for those who would rather brown bag it, prepare their own home-cooked specialties or try charming local restaurants. These trips include Friday and Saturday night family-style dinners, but give Jamboree guests the opportunity to explore the local culinary possibilities for all their other meals. As an added bonus, reduced meal costs for these trips allow JJUSA to pass the savings on to you, making these trips even more affordable for the entire family! If this sounds like your kind of trip, just select a trip with the “Just Trails” icon.

See you on the trail,

I will put up the dates as soon as regestration opens.

I hte past it has been December 1st but I bet this year it might be sooner.

How fast do you think we can sell the 2006 Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree out?

I'd like to see the Palo Duro sell out this year too.

I was up till 3:00 this am working on the 2,000 + Photos I got in from the Hot Springs Jeep Jamboree.

My Buddy Mark Toy made the trip for me and collected tons of photos for JeepTales. I plan to get them up on the site this weekend.

Alright Then!

The 2005 Moab and the Hot Springs Jeep Jamboree are now over.

Now it is time to start making my plans for the 2006 Jeep Jamborees.

I see that JJUSA just posted the 2006 dates on their Jamboree Website.

Take a peek http://jeepjamboreeusa.com/schedule.htm

Who else is plannin on making Jeep Jamboree trips and where do you plan to go?

I’m thinking about attending:

  • Texas Spur
  • Palo Duro
  • Red River
  • Hot Springs

I’d like to go East for one and West for another. Any suggestions?

BigBird,

I'm glad to hear you plan to make this trip.

Were you there last year?

Make sure you sign up early; regestration opens on December 1st. I'm willing to bet that both the Texas Spur and the Palo Duro will sell out this year and sell out fast.

Don't get left behind.

I'm bringing plenty of beer; for when after the Jeeps are put up for the night.

I wanted to take just a moment to remind you that the registration for the 2006 Jeep Jamboree Season will open in just two weeks.

On midnight December 1st 2005 the JJUSA server will be busy. Folks from all over the country are going to be locking in their spots on the Jeep Jamboree they most want to attend.

The First Jeep Jamboree of the year is the year South Texas Jeep Jamboree it's call the "Texas Spur" and will be held March 23-26 at the Inks Ranch just outside of Llano, TX. For the past 9 years the South Texas Jeep Jamboree has been a sell out!

Last year 125 spots were sold after just a few weeks. Dozens of disappointed Jeepers were left on a waiting list and unable to attend, Please don't let this happen to you. This year we anticipate that the Texas Spur will sell out in record time, don't be left behind.

If you are planning on attending either the Texas Spur or The May, Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree don't hesitate getting your registration in soon. I attended both events last year and they were absolutely incredible trips and I plan on making both trips again this year, and hope to see any of you who want to be there to lock in your spots early.

Both the Texas Spur and Palo Duro Jeep Jamborees will follow the "Classic Jamboree Format".

If you register by Phone or Fax please be sure to let them know you were reminded by JeepTales.

JeepTales links to Photos, Video, Podcast and Review from us to you!

2005 Texas Spur

2005 Palo Duro

2005 Poconos

2005 Catskills

2005 Ouray Co.

2005 Hot Springs

As always; thank you for your continued support and please be sure and pass this post on to anyone you know who might be interested. If you are the member of another Jeep Forum or news group you might want to make a posting to also alert your fellow Jeepers.

Change of plans!

I just picked up a Beer Sponsor for all the Jeep Jamborees that JeepTales covers next year.

It looks like it will be Lone Star and Lone Star Light;

I just got off the phone with Pabst and that guys is the Texas Manager and he is a Jeeper!!
