Glad you got out of it ok. Were you flat towing your Jeep or pulling it? Just curious how it happened. Looks like your cab got hit from behind.

Rich, I was told tonight at dinner by Cmetopless818 and my heart sank.

I hope you and Michele are feeling better.

Don't worry about your eyesight. I lost the sight in both eyes after fracturing my skull for about 3 weeks. Nerves had been damaged and my brain needed time to rewire the necessary nerves to see again. The brain is amazingly good at fixing itself. You should be ok soon. Don't worry. Rest and let your brain fix itself.

How is Michele? Don't answer that until you feel better, but let her know we are thinking of her.

It is amazing you survived the Ford. Your angel was with you that night.

Whoever did the roll cage on the TJ did a good job. Proves again that to the dash can take a hit.

Please know that you are in my prayers for returned health for you and Michele. Now go back to bed and rest. (I am a bossy nurse.)

Well I have to chime in and say..

See even those weak azz cheap arse cages welded in with a 115V gasless weleder can do its job, if its done right.

I always had a ? of it in the back of my mind. I have done 2 of the poison spyders (this one and one other with more bracing) and one of my one with a similier set-up. Never was I fully convinced though of its full structural design. Now I am. From what rich said they estimate a roll of 2-3 times over and I would have to say the speed was about 40MPH when it did roll. SO I feel much better now about the other two still out there.

This should also say as the heading, wear your seat belts and have a cage installed in your trail rig AND YOUR TOW RIG.

Glad to hear your doing better rich.

Mine was custom done by a reputable fabricator in a well equipped shop.

If the bracing is good and the homework done by the fab man...it will hold up.

Rich, glad to hear Michele is back to getting back to normal.

You need rest. Eat vitamin rich foods and lots of protein to rebuild your brain. Your sense of humor is returning, so you are on the mend. I've already gone through a half dozen concussions and two fractured skulls. (Might explain me rearending your Jeep that one time.)

called you the other day rich, i think it was on the 3rd, maybe your phone is no longer good, maybe you're just in pain. either way, if you two need ANYTHING let me know whether it be money, help with errands, or whatever. you were more than willing to come up here to help me, i am more than willing to helping you as well. even though your a bronco turned traitor.. j/k. hopefully your jeep was still insured as well as your F250 and i hope that you can either buy back your jeep, or part it as much as you can before the insurance people tear into it. being around your jeep so much i can only imagine how **** bad that accident must of been. my heart sank when i saw how the cab collapsed on you and i find it hard to see how you two didnt get more hurt than you did. GOD was really with you those few hours. you will have a whole new perspective on things from now on. i am after my motorcycle accident last yr after TDS. GET better and remember, vicodin is your friend.!

Very glad to hear you are OK... I hope you and your girlfriend are getting better. I have seen some accidents in my time but wow that f250 looks bad. I would play the Lottery you are one lucky person. Very few people are walking around after an accident that required over and hour to get them out....

So I hate to ask but what are you getting for your next vehical? My I suggest a Volvo SUV or something with ten airbags... Nothing makes you feel better than a new vehical... And you get to mess around with a car dealer.

Again hope you all better!!!

99 TJ, 4.0, 5-sp, CRD60's F&R , ARB's, 5.13's, Atlas 5.0, Tera LCG, Sway-A-Way coilovers, air bumps, 1" bl, 36" IROKS, Weld/OMF beadlocks, HS9500, RockRam, skids, Premier Welder, 6-point cage, Mastercraft seat, and ect.
