Man this place has slowed down a bit over the last year or so, just curious who's still here and whats going on in your lives?
I have now been relocated to Charlotte, NC from texas for about 6 months and all is well, settled into my new job, getting the lay of the land, freezing my tail off, enjoying my new Rubi and wishing I had more money so I could do some mods to it, but its good enough for now, very stable reliable package that I can still take off-road and enjoy. Wishing I could make the Texas Crawl since I have a Jeep to actually wheel now, instead of my never ending project scrambler that unfortunately got sold when I moved, but I sold it to a buddy and I'm sure some of you texas folks will eventually see it cruising some trails in the area. Give me an idea whats going on with y'all, Dennis, you still air craft mechanicing, hows the jeep progressing? Wheres PIV thses days, is he still wheeling, ever hear from him? I assume Ron is still living in the West and traveling? I know a certain person still has that scary self portrait of himself on his signature, and assume you are still doing your IT thing and building up the Jeep? I know Willie is still building his jeep higher and higher and likely now needs a step stool to get in and out.... OK, it would take me a week to name everyone on this forum, so everyone speak up, whats been up? kerryp 2008 Rubicon, T-Max 9000 Winch, TF 2.5 |

We're all here. Once our new boards are up it should make folks post more. Site will be faster and work better. Can't wait to ditch our current host and bring it back in-house.

I joined this place several years ago under another name. Back then I was living in Alaska but in 2003 transferred to Connecticut. In 2003, myself and RENEGADE organized a rather large trail ride in CA where quite a few of the So Cal Rockcrawler crew came out for. Now I live in CT, the Jeep is paid off and life is going pretty smoothly.

Yea, that was a heck of a turn out for a run that was only supposed to be about 3 Jeeps when it first started
I think there were like 20 Jeeps huh? ------------------------------ 93 YJ, 35" MT/Rs, 5.5" lift, HP D44 front, D44 rear, 4:1 tera low, locked, geared, dented and scarred.06 Ranger 4x4. |

Where does this go? Rockcrawler |
I am still around moving back to Colorado next year after 22 years in the AF. Jeep is coming along well. Had first real distruction this last year. Destroyed my ARB when the cross shaft broke in three pieces. But the plus side confirmened 4.11 gears. This year is custom made bumpers, trail cornes and rocker protection.

I have wondered about this before. And then with little thought realized that (this IMO of the obvious) when one person got on here a while back ago (not going to mention his name, there's no need) he started picking on everyone's rig, critisized everyone in a manner that never ended and made at least 1 person leave for good that I know off, others to visit less frequently, and the negative attitude spread big time to others that used to be very friendly people. Now this person rarely visits back or posts anyway because they ran out of people to harass and pick on and the negative attitude has left slowly and more and more. Some moderaters has left to persue their dreams and careers, and others have been fired, gotten lazy, or who knows and have not been replaced. For the longest time there were no reviews like in the past were all the time. The owner of the site had a new joy in his life and concentrated all energy to it (I dont blame him, who wouldnt)and priorties have changed to the direction of that bundle of joy more than likely and the board suffered because of the lack of staff to pick up the slack. A one man team cannot do it all. But none the less its still here and slowly coming back to its once glory days IMO. No one has blogged in a long while until recently with just 1 from 1 person. Look at the time frame from blog to blog. The board is hurting but is coming back I think. And then again I could be completely wrong, because all this is just a view from the outside in. I hope I didnt step on anyones toes. If so Im sorry and didnt mean to. I do hope and pray for the best no matter

I think it's true, the board did get bad here for awhile, though I don't think you can really give one reason for it. People get busy, life has a way of doing that. It's great to see the old crew back in here again. It's starting to feel like home again. I remember when we would post about everything and anything. Everyone wanted to make Pueblo's Hall of Fame thingy. 5 TARS ruled! Give it some time and this place will be back to normal.
