Terror in the Skies, Again?Read this off a website. What would you do?

Wow. I have no idea how I would have handled that situation. If I found out that there were FAM on board I would have waited for something to happen and followed their lead. Glad I don't have to fly for business.

WOW......I don't know how I would have handled that situation without being obvious.

2 Summer's ago I flew from Burbank, CA to Las Vegas, I got searched - shoes/hat off, went through all my luggage, they told me it was a random search, I'm sure it was because I had a 1-way ticket to Vegas, I was never asked why I wasn't flying round trip ( I was meeting friends and driving back to CA with them)

Interesting artical. They did exactly the right thing. They were observent, notified the correct authority, and did not act on prejudice or fear. The world is a very different place since 9/11 and we will never enjoy the same comfort/ignorance as we once did. It's a scary world in which we live.

tell me about it i was flying out of kona intl airport and was searched three times shoes off the whole sha bang, but i didn't mind it is part of being safe in the air and i had a round trip ticket

I got searched coming out here to to oregon. but if I saw something like that I would have gotin up and walked to that restroom and go inside and seen what the "F'N" h3ll was going on in their. or I wouldve been a very anoying bast#rd and asked them alkind of question and make it sound like i was inerested in where they were from. you know the tourst thing and see how they would have handled it. I'm not going down with out a fight!! I'll take aleast three or more of them out before they even get a chance to start something I'm very paranoid now when I fly.

Do you think they did the right thing? Its hard to imagine what I would do in a situation like that, but I dont think I would sit there

What would those people have done if 10 passengers got up and started congregating around them

I think it would be foolish to sit and wait for the terrorist to make a move. I would much rather stand up and have a confrontation before they actually started their plans then wait for something to blow up or someone to get hurt

Having 14 arabs on a plane in america with 1 way tickets is not normal.. Having all of them make eye contact and appear to know each other is strange and having all of them use the front bathroom is deffinately cause for alarm.

I think that when these things happen people need to take action before the terrorists start anything. Its better to be proactive and be wrong then reactive and have someone dead or hurt already.

As far as the screening policy, you cant screen more then 2 arabs.. Well thats just dumb and an example of how the ACLU is ruining things. Who are all the people strapping bombs to themselves, driving cars with explosives and shooting at amerians? They deffinately arent americans. They are arabs.

Lot's of talk today on the cable news channels about the Air Marshalls being unhappy about their dress code, dressing like a business person, dress pants, dress shirt, tie, jacket etc. Shocks me that info like this is constantly being broadcast over and over and which airports are trying out new types of security.

Yup I agree with you.... If nobodys going to take action like "air marshalls" every day people like you and me are going to take that action And the ACLU will be crying like babies and again people are going to take action.
