So we're running late for day #2 at the SEMA Show but Vern and I are both starving. So we go down to the buffet to hook up on some eats before the big day at the show.

I fill my plate pretty well and return to our table. I start chowing down and thin, "Gee, where's Vern?"

A few minutes later he shows up with TWO plates full of food.

And yes, he ate it all.

Hmmm....I think maybe a contest of sorts may be in order. I'd make a better candidate still. I owe Mike breakfast next time we meet!

Hmmmm Might be worth taking dennis just for the breakfast offer out there at vegas prices.

Mike - I'm willing to bet Vernon also ate his dessert first. Am I right?



All of which brings up the topic of "Vernon stories" - which are many and pretty funny - like the time he took me to the "Bus Stop" in Boulder, CO. Or the time he and I crashed an "All Girls" trail run (definately HIS idea!). Or the time we got REAL close to a forest fire.

Hanging with Vernon is NOT for the faint of heart!

Ya know....There are these really funny hunting videos out there called "Outdoors with TK and Mike". Somehow I think we could do the same thing here, but call it "Wheelin' with VB and WillieG". The opening line should be Willie's famous "Ya'll are gonna love this!"
