Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while but I recently have discovered on my own that I want to live on my own now. I just turned 20 and want to live by myself and do things to help get my plans going without being dependant. The three letter word Im talking about is JOB.
Any advice on what I can do to get a high paying job being a junior in college? Im always open to new ideas...
my background work for the past couple of years has been water park manager, lifeguard, brand representative, and of course jeep/offroad connoisseur. My major is radiologic tech. and nuclear medicine. I would like to try and get started in that area but without a degree I feel that I am a little SOL (Sh!t Out of Luck).
Any ideas are welcome!

PS. I have a bike ride coming up mid august, check out the website...

Iceman- good call, your right on track.
RJ- A job like that hasn't crossed my mind in a while. I worked at toyota when I was 16 for a day then they realized I wasn't old enough to work in their department. It's a good idea that I must consider and if it works out, then mad props to you!

Get as much education as you can afford - and more - a BS means you will earn 30-50% more per year on average. MS another 10-15%. Piled Higher and Deeper another 35%. Find several things that you can be passionate about. Your life will be long so find something that pays the bills and something that make you happy. Remember that family is everything and you work to live - not live to work. Save room for a few beers. Be a good father when its time. Don't let women run your life - ever. Have short, medium, and long term goals - and know what they mean. Don't sweat the little things and find happy-ness where ever you can... Live every day - to its fullest. Don't waist your time - but spend it wisely... Make sure you have low gears when you need them. Keep your fuel injectors clean. Lube every 3K and check you U-joints every time you go out - and when you get back. Keep your Tarrs on the ground.
