At Last!!!
We are going into the Auto Hobby shop bays on base tomorrow to lift my little Green Tonka Toy!!!
Thanks for all your help out there although I think it may have back fired on me some. Ya see when I last posted..."Cat Toys?" The hubby kind of thought I was calling him out ((who me) Rightfully so, cause the pile in my living room just kept growing...headlights, driving lights, electronic switches, shackles, dashboard temp gages (for inside the jeep and out, New Best top.
The very next day after I posted he went to his favorite 4x4 store in this area "Northridge 4x4" and I (Stupidly) stayed behind to prepare a succulant meal sweating and toiling over a hot fire and washing his cloths at the river (Up hill both ways) for my fierce protector of the home front. All the while thinking only of him.
Well! I won't make that mistake again! The boy done lost his Mind! He came home with nothing in hand but a slip of paper...his receipt: Dana 44's, New Larger wheels, Tires (Larger of course)(35's I think?), New Bumpers to accomodate his new Milemarker Hydrolic winch you understand...
What's he need another wench for he's got me!
And he has tried to order the Eaton Lockers but it seems like they just aren't out there to be found...anybody know anything we don't?
Well, be looking for our pics of our big day in the bay!!! This posting should get me in enough trouble to hold me for a while. He's so romantic!

Spent the entire day at the bay.......
4 people, 3 jeeps, Many upgrades and repairs... 2 staying over night. The base hours aren't long enough!
Listen up you folks who live where you salt the roads! RINSE YOUR UNDERCARRIAGE AND LUBE YOUR JEEPS!!!!!!!! I realize telling you guys this is like preaching to the pews. But come on...this is a 97TJ never off road...Shame on the previous owners.

I have spent the entire day requainting myself with a long forgotten vocabulary! I didn't think I still had it in me!

More tomorrw...we should be tying up the loose ends...I'll include pics

Finally!!!
The rear right hand shock is in!!! After a couple of hours, Big Hammers, Air Chisels, Punches to get a broken Tap out not to mention all American Brute Force!
Also got the new rear drive shaft and a new Top!

Can't wait till we get a chance to put my new lights on...
Ever noticed that Jeepers are alot like us women, Once we get what we want were still not satisified!
Can't wait for my big wheels, Track Bar and anything else I can think of.
