Call me nuts, but I just bought a Honda TLR 200 trials bike. Hopefully after a few parts, good tune up and carb rebuild, and some much needed TLC, I'll have a decent bike to crawl over the rocks with! Big Grin

I just found one on EBay that is in perfect shape, and only 143 miles on it. Same year (1987) as mine. Current bid was just under $1k, and the buy it now was $3500 and some odd change!!!! Eek

Me thinks maybe a full restoration may be in order! Here's an '87, but in a bit better shape than mine.

Congrats Dennis! Rock crawling can indeed be done in many forms.

I didn't get a trials bike but I did get an 04 300MXC KTM. What a blast!

KTM....COOL! Conjures up the term "Full Tilt Boogie" for some odd reason. Big Grin Goes way faster than this ol' phart cares to on two wheels in the dirt. I have rediscoved that falling in sand doesn't hurt near as much as hard-pack! I went riding two weeks ago on a buddy's XR400 he had set up for enduros.(He's 54 BTW!) Suspension was way too stiff for me. And I only dumped it twice. Cool
