Not with all the discounts on new ones. I saw an 05 base model for 13K. Last year I bought the same base model for 12K and added my own goodies.

Sure you have all the goodies on it, but it is still a 2000. I know it sucks, but the reality is one always takes a beating on add ons.

You might get 15k from someone that knows what it really is worth, otherwise I'd have to agree with kendall69 on that. It might be scary, but you should swing into a dealer and find out what they'd give you for it, what it Blue Books out at... that's what most folks will use as a reference. You'll never get out of it what you know it's worth. Good luck.

Stupid More axle and tcase info. Seems a little high. People tend to think that they look up the value, and tack on the price of all the mods they made.

well I got a Dana 30 in the front and a dana 35 in the rear!!! I know I know. All I want is 15 for it. But Im asking 17 just in case. Im sure I can get 15 for it. As for the dealership thing, My buddy owns a dealership and said he would gladely put it on his lot. That would make it even easier to sell because of the financing he can do.

If you are still trying to sell it, I would go with putting on your buddy's lot for a little while. Give it a week or so and see what kind of interest he gets in your TJ. Like has already been said, you are never going to out what you have put in. I'm in the same boat with trying to sell my '04 TJ. Just prepare yourself to take a hit on the amount you have invested the amount you can sell it for.

Also, based on the age of the vehicle, any place that does financing will take into account depreciation and then only loan so much of that value for someone to finance it.
