Guys,
I think i am going to go with the RE7003 3.5" superflex kit from 4x4groupbuy.com . My question is, is the kit complete minus shocks or are there odds and ends i need to get? I am planning on going with a AA SYE and tom wood driveshaft. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

well if you are doing a sye, you'll need to purchase upper rear control arms to set the pinion angle.

SprungTJ,
I was under the assumption that the RE7003 Super-Flex kit came with kit, but it does not. Thank you for the notice.
How hard is it to get this tuned in as far as pinion angle?

it's better IMHO to just get the parts you really need, rather than the kit Smile
And may I recommend going with the JB supershorty SYE (never hurts to have some more driveshaft)

Very easy, general rule is to point the pinion about 3 degrees less at the tcase yoke. You can always just order the 4.5 superflex with 3.5 springs, and receive all upper and lower control arms.

you will need a new adjustable track bar with the lift

also you might want to pick up some jks quick disconnects.. the ones that come witht he lift are okay but not the best

Guys,
Just to make sure I am 100% clear.
I will need the following items:
1.RE7003 3.5" Super Flex Kit
2.Shocks
3.AA SYE and TW shaft
4.Adjustable rear upper arms
5.adjustable rear trackbar

or

I could get get:
1.RE7000 kit but with 3.5" springs
2.Shocks
3.AA SYE and TW shaft

Does this sound about right? Sounds like it will be more cost effective to go with option 2.

Well the adj. trac bars center the axle under the jeep, seem important to me since most trac bar brackets do dont center the axle fully, and may cause binding. Seems important to me...

With the front, you will not need a bracket with the adj trac bar. The rear, a different angled bracket is required, and will work in conjunction with the adj trackbar so it does not bind or hit the gas tank in the stock location. The extreme duty front trac bar, however, does require a bracket, but neither comes with the kit.

why not go with all adj. control arms and ditch the crappy RE swaybar links (front). No need for the Tcase drop if you go with SYE and cv driveshaft.
More than likely you won't need the rear TB bracket if you go with the adj. TB.
So like I said before -> piece it together yourself Smile

Matt, I really like the more complete option.
I went with a simular set up for my TJ.
I went with the RE 4.5 Super Flex kit, but swaped in the 3.5 springs. I also upgraded to all adjustable arms and adjustable front and rear track bars. Along with the SYE and Tom Woods HD shaft. I'm sure glad I went with the adjustable options.
My system came as a complete kit from http://www.redrock4x4.com They were invaluable for their expert help and customer service.

I originally purchased the 4.5 kit, ome shocks and steering stab. Then i added an aa sye and twood shaft, new rubicon quick disco's(work very easily) and most recently an adjustable rear trac bar. I suggest buying everything you "need" or desire upon installing the lift, so everything is complete the first time.
