When you install a 3 inch suspension lift...will the transfer case drop solve all driveline problems or does it then present other issues that must be dealt with?

I am looking at the Tera Flex 3 inch suspension kit. Any opinions on said kit. Tera claims you can run 33s with this kit. Is that correct? Still curious on the driveline question....

It should eliminate most vibrations and let you get away without any more mods for the most part. I ran one for a few years. But the only solution is to do the Slip Yoke Eliminator and CV driveshaft.

I have to run a 1inch body lift to clear the 33's on my tj with a three inch lift, and i do get some driveline vibes without the tcase lowering bracket.

Will I need to run an adjustable track bar with this lift system?

probably not if you get a system with the bracket you should be fine. look at the blackdiamond 3 inch kit also. not sure about the price difference but i went with it and really like it i didn't get thier shocks i ordered some 4" lift MX6's from 4wpws.

I'm running the 3 inch tera kit w/ 1 inch BL and 33's, seems to be about perfect. You could fit them without the BL though. I had a transfer case drop with little or no vibes, and have since installed a 1 inch motor mount lift and was able to get rid of the transfer case drop and I still have no vibes. I will eventually get a SYE and CV driveshaft.

If I start with the 3 inch kit and someday need an extra inch is it possible to add a spacer kit? Any ideas on the track bar question?

did you see my post??? you shouldn't need a adj track bar with the brackrt, but if you add a spacer later you would probably want one, also imho i think once you break that 4" mark you really should get adj control arms again imho

i started out with the 3 inch BD kit with 33's it rubbed, then i added 3/4 spacers still rubbed a little added adj track bars and adj upper/lower front arms rubbed alot added inch body barley rubs the flares. start with what you can afford and build from there, i always new i wanted a 4.5 -5.5 lift running 35-36's so i'm slowly upgradeing to it about to get a d44 rear setup for a 4link no more rear track bar!!

Sorry localrich. I didn't scroll up far enough and missed your initial post. Thanks for the information. 3 inch is probably the max for me for a while. I just want to be sure that I do everything right so I don't create any headaches for myself.

I've got the same set-up as JeepinKeller - I'm was also running the 3 inch tera kit w/ 1 inch BL and 33's w/ no problems. I agree that you could fit 33's w/o the BL though, but you won't have the full range of flex.
