Hey everybody. I am doing a simple steering dampener replacement and I have ran into a problem that I hope you all can help me with.

I had to separate the the drag link from the tie rod in order to remove the dampener bolt on the axle side. Now when I try to tighten the nut back onto the ball stud where the tie rod and drag link meet, the stud just spins. There is no way to hold back on the stud because the top of it is inside the grease boot.

Any help will very appreciated!. Thanks Rockcrawler

i just gave mine a quick hit with the impact wrench when i had a simular issue it worked fine. but i wouldn't go overboard with too much torque from a larger impact.
