I'm wanting to convert my rear brakes to disc. I already bought the Teraflex rear disc kit from 4x4rockshop. Do I need to change my Master cylinder for one from a vehicle with 4 wheel discs, or can I just swap out my proportioning valve for one from a Rubi??
Hard to compare stuff when I'm in Korea, the parts are in Maryland and the Jeep is in Alaska.... Rob Owner - Mountain Valley Customs 570-217-7284 |

Anyway, from everything that I've read you just need to change the porportioning valve. I've also heard you can use one from a Rubi or one from a ZJ. Never done it myself though. ________________________________________________________________________________ "Beaten paths are for beaten men." You can remove an o-ring from the proportioning valve to balance it out. That's what was done to mine, and it works good.

Polarfire --> LOL! Sounds we are in the same boat!!
Pete --> Thanks, I will do that then. I take it you mean pull the o-ring under hood?? Rob Owner - Mountain Valley Customs 570-217-7284 |
