This weekend I was driving offroad and outside of 13.5 tires being too wide and hitting my flares I noticed a lot of popping and different noises. I checked underneath and greased everything but I still get a pop when the weight shifts from front to back quickly. Any ideas what things would make pops and other weird noises but not look wrong? Thanks for the help.

Control arms, trac-bars, swaybar links..
Check your bolts on all of these. My Control arm bolts come loose every once in a while when I drive down extreme washboard roads and I'll start to notice a popping sound when the drivetrain loads and unloads.

IF YOU HAVE CAM BOLTS, CHECK THEM, ALSO THE TRACK BAR IN THE REAR WILL COME LOOSE.

Hey, I did all that, checked it all, it's all tight. Any other ideas? I've heard the bar pins can do that, would eliminators help? Thanks ya'll.

When I had a similar noise everyone said it had to be the control arm bolts. However after re-torqueing them several times I was getting frustrated because the popping would continue. Eventually I figured out that it was coming from the bolt on the body mount end of the rear tracbar. So don't forget to check that one.
