Can you put an Ax-5 from a YJ IN a TJ? And how hard is the change? I know the output shaft is 1/2 in. longer, and the thowout is different.

If you are putting it in a six that bearing and shaft length with get you. You are
pretty much stuck with the AX-15 for the early model TJs . To machine the shaft and
make a new bearing you can score a rebuilt AX-15 - I have seen good ones on Craigs list
for as low as 450 .
