I have a 98 TJ and years ago when I bought my jeep I wanted to someday buy this rollcage that went behind the dash I think the company online was something like alloffroad.com but really don't know for sure. I know it goes through the dash and bolts to the floor and you then have to weld it to your existing rollcage. Back then when I was in high school I had no clue how to weld I went to school for welding and am now a pipe welder I work at a company tig welding stainless pipe. I know you're probally thinking hell I could just buy the pipe bend it myself and weld it in well I don't have a bender or a tig welder but have access to a welder at work. I rememeber reading many years ago of a few people that bought this cage and really like it now that I have the experience and know how to weld and all I'd really like to build my jeep up like I wanted to 10 years ago. I know this all sounds corny but can anyone help me with the name of that company that makes these cages? I have seen some bolt in cages they make but I don't want that I want to weld mine in. Thanks

Chris

I'm not familiar with all offroad but back in 01 when I had my TJ, there were several guys adding Tennessee Offraod's cage to their factory back half. I was one of them and the cage turned out pretty nice. Other than minor grinding here and there, everything fit nice and tight. The hardest part was getting the rear spreader bar in place (where I wanted it). I haven't kept up with TOR so I don't know if they're still making the cages or not. I pulled the dash which was a PITA, but some guys managed to do theirs by notching the top of the dash and running the bars through. To me that would be harder because you have to do some duct work for the outer dash vents. I plan to either add to my cage in my LJ or do a full replacement at some point. But I think I'll do something similar to Poision Sypder Custom and use a plate that goes down the side of the dash.

It's funny after posting this post I found the company that made this rollcage on ebay. The company is called essentially offroad I think there website was like EOR.com just type there name into google the cage was alot cheaper then poison spyder and I think maybe even better I just don't like how poisons setup is. I guess being a weklder now I want the best and I feel this cage would keep me very safe I may even modify it some and make it better.
