Just wondering if anyone has a suggested Driveshaft length for a TJ that is lifted 6-8 inchs with a RE Hack and Tap SYE. I am putting together a lift kit and would like to do the SYE and driveshaft in at the same time without running a stock driveshaft with 6-8 inchs of lift (OHHHH Scary!)

Thanks
Robert

Get a shorty SYE, you will be much happier if you do it right the first time! Because you will do right the second time.

99 TJ, 4.0, 5-sp, CRD60's F&R , ARB's, 5.13's, Atlas 5.0, Tera LCG, Sway-A-Way coilovers, air bumps, 1" bl, 36" IROKS, Weld/OMF beadlocks, HS9500, RockRam, skids, Premier Welder, 6-point cage, Mastercraft seat, and ect.
04 KJ, 04 Ram 3500 4x4 diesel, and 97 TJ Buggy with better stuff than my 99!!!

I agree. The hack and tap will bend and twist when used with larger tires. I have a Tom Woods SYE that is bent because it is just a cut down stock output shaft. About the drive shaft, you would have to measure when you get it all set up because every jeep is different.
