my brother is lookin at gettin a suspension lift for his 2000 TJ. its stock height right now. he was thinking around a 3.5 (or 4) in lift to fit either 33s or maybe shave the fenders for 35s. He was thinkin about rancho rockcrawl susp or rubicon express lifts but saw a deal for a rough country suspension. Anybody runnin rough country? If so does it work well compared to others.(gives good articulation, probs with, or benefits of runnin rough country susp) he will goin through mud and rock crawling.

I learned the hard way that a "deal" on a lift will cost more in the long run, but it also depends on what you want, looks or performance off road. I'd recommend the 4.5 superflex from Rubicon Express, it has everything you need to have a safe and stable rig except a slip yoke eliminator and CV driveshaft, you can probably get the whole package for about $1600-1800 if you shop carefully.

Good luck,
Mark
