I am getting ready to put on my seven inch long arm lift here pretty soon and had been planning on upgrading my steering situation. I am currently running a hi pinion 44, and one of the options I have seen is using flat top knuckles and a custom tie rod and drag link setup, but is that a little too much. Rock krawler offers their version of cross over steering, as well as ORO (off road only). Which one?

I ran the ORO setup for 2+ years with great success. The only reason I'm not still running it is because I went to full width axles.

I sell Rock Krawler and have installed their X-factor steering on numerous rigs.

Both are great systems and will work well with the amount of lift you are planning on installing

I run the ORO setup on both of my rigs...and I've installed several Currie systems on a few others. After comparing them side by side I'd go with the Currie. The ORO stuff is strong, but the cross over design allows more for vibrations and higher possibility of wobbles. The TRE's on the draglink also fail frequently, at least they're easy to get from Napa. The folks with the Currie have had no complaints, and it's also solid components and stout DOM tubing. Go Currie, go wheeling, have fun, and have some $$ left over for other mods.

Currie doesn't have any recommendations on the website that I can find, best bet would be to call them.
