finally after getting everything i needed i can put on my new lift and axles, seven inch long arm, hp d44,ford 8.8. one of the many issues i have run into are the problem with my driveshafts, i gonna be running 1350 yokes all the way around. i already have the yokes for the axles, now im looking for the shafts. people tell me in order to run 1350 cv in the rear on my np231 im going to need an adapter flange, but if i were to go with a 1330 yoke i could run the usual cv. the front is going to be the same way, 1350 or 1330. any help and more info would be great, if you know someone who is good with the shaft post it.

Call Tom Wood out in Salt Lake. He's pretty much the accepted expert on the subject, and he has some adaptors he supplies. I've been running his shafts for almost 20 years now (I sound like a commercial for him.) He makes quality products and gives great advice.

While he's in business to make and sell driveshafts, he also gives good advice. About the only thing he does wrong is that he makes shafts so good that you only need new ones when you build a new jeep.

If you are talking adapters I am assuming that your transfer case does not have 1350 yokes in it - so you have to have a specialty shaft that has a
1330 on the transfer case side and a 1350 on the outboard side and a 1350 going into the axle - right ???

I agree with Dick on Tom Woods. I had a Woody on my 01 and never a problem and plan to run a Woody on my 05.
