Hi Guys: My name is Randy and I'm the guy who builds the Seat riser kits for TJ's and Rubicons and Unlimiteds. You can contact me at buchananprec@adelphia.net for more info if you're interested. Kits cover all heights of drivers and passengers. Must have for offroad use, allows much better view of whats in front of you. Thanks Randy

Adversity does not build character "it reveals it"

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature,
nor do the children of men as a whole experience it.
Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright
exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

I'm 6'1", and I put a 1" spacer in my seat. I still feel too low.

I use Mastercraft seats with their bracket to adapt to a TJ. Will your setup work with this?

Pete: If your seats are mounted to the floor in the same holes as the stocks there should be no reason why the kit shouldn't work just like stock. Randy

David A: I'm currently working on several kits, one of which might be of interest to you. If you will email me, at buchananprec@adelphia.net I will tell you a little about it. I'm not ready to tell the world yet, so nothing on any forums. Thanks Randy

6'6", 240lbs (used to be almost 280lbs when I was into weight lifting), shoe size 17 Smile Its fine on the trail and such, but on the street the top of the windshield is too low for my liking. Besides, it would lower the COG Big Grin Since adding the 5-points I can't lean the seats back very far.

I just purchased a set of Randy's 1" seat risers, well made and easy install. I bought them so my wife can see over the roll cage dash bar, I wasn't sure if I was going to put them on my side at first but after sitting in her seat I liked the extra visibality, So I will put the other set on my side and I am 6'1" and they still leave plenty of head room and improved my visibility over the hood as well. Big Grin

They cost $60.00 for the 1" set (1-set is both front seats)including shipping & tax. He has them in 1", 1.5" & 2" I think. They are billet aluminum black anodized with grade 8 bolts.

Ok, thanks. I might try the 2" version. I have a 1" spacer now, and with the Mastercraft seats, I still feel too low.

Two weeks after installing the 2" risers you will be taking them out to install the 1.5" versions because 2" was too tall. Big Grin Razz
