According to at least one web site reference, P 0455 indicates a *large* leak in the evap system. As suggested in the other thread, you might want to check the hookup *one more time* just to be absolutely sure you have it the same way as pre-mod. Also, re-check the hoses to maker absolutely certain you didn't nick one of them. Best of luck, BlackJack

Hey Guys I just had to chime in on this one I have a 97 tj that the check engine light kept coming on after about five minutes on looking at the dash board. and putting the jeep into Dio mode by turning the key on-off-on-off-on it started flashing a code p-0065 which by the way is not in the ciltons manual so being me and annal about dash lights I was off to Napa to buy a Code reader I got it for $149. bucks and the thing is an awsome addition to anyones tool box. well to make a long story short I plugged it into my deisel and into the wifes car. the truck need a relay swicth and wife car was good but the jeep however the code p-0065 well heres the funny part about the whole thing that code is for the power steering presure switch low fluid! what a dumb$$$!! well atleast i got a cool new tool worth every penny as a mater of fact my neighbor offered a six pack to come over and plug his wifes car in the scanner is already paying for its self!! thats just my input keep the tire side down Tom

First thing to check are the emission hoses. You'll have a lot of small and short hoses that can easily come off or crack. Depending on the emission package you have, lines and equipment will be in different places but easy to get to. look for a Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label in the engine compartment. It's a white sticker about 3"x8" usually at the base of the hood next to the driver hinge. It will show you where your lines go and what equipment you have.

I was receiving an engine code for evap as well. I finally pulled my gas tank, and one of the evap tubes molded to the tank was cracked. Put some marine grade epoxy on it, now good as new.
