Hey ya'll, I've got a half top on my jeep and I just took the spare off today but I was wondering, has anybody made a cage or something to mount the spare above the tonneau in the back? I think it would look cool but I can't think of how to do it. Pics would be great, thanks ya'll.

I have mine mounted similar to that, just off the fenders. Wouldnt work with a tonneau cover. I would think you could use a large clamp of some sort to clamp it to the roll cage even if you want to keep it removeable. Dont think its too hard to make, weld on two cross tubes, weld in a crossmember in the middle, weld on some all-thread to the center of that cross member (or whatever offset is needed to center the tire over the tub), get the proper nut, put on handles on the nut made out of solid rod, put a plate on it, should be it. Just put the tire on, and screw it down.
