This will work with on a Dana 30 or 44 front.

After:

Awesome kit. It uses 1.5" x .25" DOM tubing with 3/4" heim joints!

Looks like the Offroad Only U-turn kit but with heim joints at the ends instead of tie rods. Is that what it is? If not, which brand is it or is it home-made?

No it is not the U-Turn kit. If fits on the stock axles with the stock knuckles. All you have to do is remove the old junk and drill a 3/4" hole in the two knuckles and the pitman arm. It is made by a fab shop in Louisiana. The git goes for a little of $300. If you or anone is interested let me know and I can pass on some info.

It is designed not to hit the Dana 30 of 44 pumpkin or the swaybar brackets. Like I said it is as easy as removing you old kit, drilling holes, and mounting the new kit.

heims do wear faster than normal TRE's. nice set up though. whats the price tag for a tj set up? whats the minimum, maximum lift for the set up? be nice if they did a tie rod set up on top of the knuckle like a high steer.

Why is the draglink bent? Does it have to clearance something? I'm just curious. Not It looks much better than the factory set up.

Ren you would be better off going this way

I went high steer on the right side and it works flawlessly.

how's the ON road driving with all of the above kits?
I've got the Currie kit and flipped the tierod (already before the Currie kit) on the driverside and it tracks straight while on the road ...

On the TJ's if you put a straight bar across it will hit the pumpkin when you try to turn. Looking down on it it looks like this.

0 0
\-----------------------/

The 0 are the heim joints.

You can put in on top to make it high steer, but on a TJ it will clash with the swaybar mounts on the axle.

The guy whos Jeep is in the second picture has been running it on his for quite a while and has not had any problems with the heims.

I think heim joints would last a lot longer than TRE, especially off road.

The TJ kit is a about $300 plus shipping. If you need help getting in touch with him let him know.

It comes unpainted.

It drives great on the road, no problems at all. I am going to add a steering stabilizer though b/c it is my DD.

The guy who fabbed the kit is going to fab a bracket to attach to the drag link. Should be able to use the stock bracket. Will let you know when I install mine.

How is the steering feel, tight, loose, etc. Bump steer, death wobble?

Good, little bump steer, but I am adding a steering stabilizer to help. No death wobble at all.

Why buy it when it would be so easy to build, I bet you could buid it for just under 200 bucks. Maybe even cheaper depending on your sources. Rockcrawler did what looks to me like the same mod on "project TJ" and I think they built it themselves.
