I have been looking for the best deal on a 4" BDS suspension for my '85 CJ7, and so far the best deal I've seen was $550+shipping. Someone mentioned in an earlier board that they got it for under $400. Where?

Thanks.

Or maybe another 4" lift that will give me a smooth daily driver? I'm open to suggestions. Is the Rubicon Express really that good? ($900 good?)

Get anything but superlift. those springs just suck. I hear BDS spring are actually pretty good. my buddy pick up some PRO Comps springs for under 500 I am not sure where though. his jeep flexes really well too.

I am running 4 inch BDS springs on my 85 CJ-7 and I'm very satisfied with them. I did get them for $395.00 plus tax at a local shop here in Gadsden Alabama.

W/ the 4" lift, did you have to add a CV drive shaft? Or were the shims sufficient to eliminate drive shaft vibration?

I didn't have to change anything on the drive shafts, the wedges (shims) took care of the increased driveline angle. So far I haven't had any problems.
