I voted 4.0/T18, but honestly, i think you should use both the 4.0 and the 4.2 components and build a stroker. You got all the parts you need right there.

i agree with CJim7 4.0+4.2= stroker.... it will use stock 258 motor mounts and there is plenty of aticle and people out there to help... as with trans if you go T-18 get a high holding clutch...and if you go auto i would aget a manual valaing so you can shift your trans...thats my opinion...
