Is this swap really as good as they say? I have '77 CJ with a 258 and a carter one barrel carb. I will upgrading to the motorcraft 2100 soon. Any comments, hints, or tips would be great.

I have the same exact thing and I tried an MSD-6 Offroad but it never worked right. I wanted to get rid of the stock ignition module but it wouldn't run without it. Keep me posted on which way you go.
