I have a stock cj. I want to rock crawl in nearby trails and just want to show my buddys up. I have a nice budget but not much and was wandering on some advice to turn a stock cj into a mean machine email me or post which ever is easier for you but i would like to know everything i would need to have it running in great shape.

I'm sure others will agree with ne when I say take the Jeep out wheeling see what it will do then take the steps to make it better.You can spend lots of money ane still not have what you need. As I am building mine I went tires then lift then gears then.... You need to learn to drive it or all the money and parts in the world wont mean a thing.

I agree. wheel it and get a feel for your jeep. I personally bought my jeep with a blown frontend. so the first thing I did was go gears and lockers. and I swapped out the model 20 rearend for a dana 44.then I went with other mods.
