If you have everything from the J20 from the bellhousing to the t-case, it should be a bolt in swap, the problem may lie in the length, the J-series T18 is substantially longer(around 6" IIRC)so you'll need new d-shafts. What CJ is this going in? If it's going in a 5 you may not have enough room for a long enough rear d-shaft.

Probably won't work in a CJ that easily. If you just bolt the J bellhousing/tranny/tcase combo up it's gonna be too long. A more popular 'swap' is to take the T18 and replace the existing input shaft with the short CJ version. I believe that your T150 bellhousing is drilled to accept either the T18 pattern, but I'm not certain of that.

If you can't find the proper input shaft, you can also get a machinist to turn your present one down to the right length. I'd think you'd want to find one to use for measurements, but then you'd also have to cut down the bearing retainer, but thats easy.
