Ummm, I think for the time your going to put into it I would just buy a weld on kit and go from there.

SRS are great for what they are intended to do. They make your Jeep ride much smooth because the tires will flow with the bumps on the road.

However there are a few down falls. The movement of your tires under compression is going to change, they will swing towards the back now, you'll need a new front drive shaft because of this and there are chances your tires will now rub on the back of the wheel wells. Also, on steep climbs or ledges the front axle will feel like it wants to walk away from the rest of the Jeep, this is not a huge issue but if you use your Jeep mainly for comp. purposes or just a trail Jeep you may consider it.

I built my SRS and as Renegade said you'll want a long slip driveshaft. And you will rub the inside of the wheel well. I'm assuming you'll stay with the 4" lift.If so you'll want the Rancho 44044 springs for a 78 waggoneer. These are a 2" lift spring but on a CJ they are equal to a 4" lift. The springs are a bit longer and the centering pin is offset so this will push the front axle forward a bit to lessen the effects of the SRS as far as the rubbing goes. I run these on the front of mine and they have preformed flawlessly. Good luck with it.
