I'm back another CJ project. This time I picked up a 1975 CJ5, stock in every way including a shot body tub.

My question- Can I use a 1976 or later body on the '75 frame & driveline? Really all have thats any good is the drive line, hood, dash, and roll bar. Thank for your help.

I'm not really sure. I do know the difference between frames are the 75 is open channel and the 76 and newer is boxed. I wouldn't think the body mount locations would change. If they did it's not hard to change the location of the mounts. Beware of the frame the open channel frames had a tendacy to crack.
