i saw that i had about 20psi regardless of higher rpms. i have a mechanical autometer guage. when i would increase rpms the pressure would drop to about 15psi. i put on a new oil pump, pickup, and filter. the pressure was restored and i thought my problem cured. the next day i was driving home and it was back at 20psi. it actually dropped to about 10psi and i shut it off. im out of ideas to change this. i dont believe bearings to be a problem as it was running well for one day. im all out of ideas. anyone have a similar problem ever?
What grade oil?, oil level?, What are the tempatures water and outside? Might be that it's really warm and the oil has thinned out. Maybe go to a heavier oil. As long as you have pressure I wouldn't worry too much.

thanks, the problem was that i kept clogging oil filters. (no reason?) i know for sure i'm never using a fram again. i usually didn't but i put one on because i didnt have enough money. about three later i put a k&n on and have fine oil pressure and still no clogs. whatever. thanks for the reply though.
