Does anyone know if a 2.25 in coil spring spacer for a TJ will fit a KJ Liberty too? A friend has a liberty and wants the spacers I'm taking off my TJ. I did a little research and it looked like the only lift available for the KJ is the spacers, just not sure about the shock tower dimensions.

If you are talking about the rear then maybe, the front definately will not work. The front is an integral strut type shock and spring combination that requires special spacers. The best ones are a combination of an internal spacer and a strut spacer.

I think it's skyjacker that makes a "true" lift for the liberty.

There are all kinds of lifts for the Liberty. If he wants to lift a KJ, it won't break the bank. 2" budget Boost for around $200. The best I have seen are at www.rocky-road.com

Hope my $0.02 helps.

Here's a pic of a Liberty with a fresh 4" lift and boggers taken on Rose Garden Hill in Moab last Sat. A quote from the driver "Libertys' have their uses and wheeling ain't one of them. I'm getting a TJ."

corlissb has the right idea: rockyroad has lifts up to about $1000, but some can be had for as little as $200. They also explain why they don't go over 2.5". It makes sense.
