My wife and I just got her an 05 Renegade. She's excited about having a Jeep of her own. I'm looking at getting her the Rusty's 2.5" lift kit, the springs not the spacers, and I want to know what size tires others are running on their lifted KJs. I know 255/70R16s and 245/75R16s will fit. Is anyone running 31x10.50x16s without any problems? Please let me know so we can get my wife's Jeep started off with some mods.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

some of us have been running the 265/75/16 and you will have to do a little trimming. The 245/75/16 seems to be a great fit with out a lot of rubbing or trimming. If you dont mind doing some trimming on the front... the 265 will work as well. Hope this helps. Later...Clint

Cool. How much trimming are you talking about and where on the front would need to be trimmed??

not a lot...cut the plastic piece that cover the pinch weld in the rear of the fender well. Beat the pinch weld towards the inside...Then for the front of the inside fender well. trim off the lower front part of the inner fender. Pull it forward and scew or tie wrap it in the forward positon. I just pulled the entire inner fender and that solves all that problem. Hope this helps. later...Clint

My soon to be x-wife Big Grin, has an 02 Libby, I Installed the Daystar spring spacers about 2 years ago, I believe it was a 2 1/2 spacer, super pain in the a$$ with the front struts. with trimming it may accomodate the 265 75 16, but it was pretty tight when they put them on and went with the 245 75 16, I was a bit dissapointed as it didn't look quite right with the 245's.
Just my .02.... Cool

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just pull the inner fender liners like I did on my TJ and call it good.

Thanks again!
