The Liberty is a odd ball Jeep more like the older Cherokee, yet not quite the New Cherokee.

The IFS did not helpin it's sale to the Jeep community, and I have often seen the Liberty labled as a Granny/soccor Mom Jeep.

Now I can attest that a stock Liberty is not a very godd mudding rig, and it is awful as a Rock Crawler in it's stock release.

But as a high speed trailing Jeep it beats all the rest, as it turns on a dime and has fantastic over the road pickup on bumpy trails, far better then my 2004 Rubicon has infact.

With a small suspension lift kit the Liberty can wear bigger tires and have more ground clearance and then this Jeep's full potential comes into play.

The Liberty also is a great towing vehicle and can mud as well as trail if just given the proper mods, a total under rated vehicle in my view!
