Found this discussion going on over at the L.O.S.T. boards:
From Jp magazine: "Hate the liberty? expect it to disappear from the Jeep lineup in a few years and be replaced by another model" From Allpar.com (www.allpar.com/model/upcoming.html): Jeep Liberty This platform may be phased out. We'd expect a new vehicle replacing the Liberty to come around 2007-08. Alternatively, there is talk of a Dodge version of the Liberty. Hmmm... It will likely get a re-work is all.
2002 introduction 2005 facelift 2008 new model (probably with the same name but new styling) That would be pretty typical for DC's current corporate strategy. |
