Most trails in DV are 2wd, but I could spend weeks exploring there. I used to go every year when I was younger.

Actually I did all these trails in 2 wheel drive. Thats not what Death Valley is all about. It is a great place to go and see all the great views. However we are going to Calico the day after Thanksgiving and you would need 4 wheel drive for sure on those trails. Later...Clint

we did calico a few weeks ago and yeah most of it can be run actually in 2wd. just ask localrich.lol. only lower doran is the biatch! i dont think 4wd helps much there .

I would say if your really good you could do all of calico in 2wd except for lower duran, an obsticle or two on odessa would require some lunching speed if you go up Wink
