so far I havent been doing anything to the truck, since I've been sick.
but today I've felt a little better so the bed came off.Now I have to bob the frame behind the rear spring hanger, and build a new rear bumper.
then I can start on the flatbed.
or I can move back up front and finish the wireing job on the lights on the front.
eather way it will all be done verysoon,so I can plan my trail ride in florida this thanksgiving. If anyone from florida is interested myself and a couple of friends and there rigs are going to do the pit bravo rock pit then prolly move to ocala nat. forrest for some trail riding.

well since then I've bobbed the frame in the rear, right behind the rear spring hanger, sanded and painted the frame to keep it from rusting, installed taillights and traded my bumper for 2 new hummer tires w/ 90% tread since IROKs are a ways away. I've updated my webshots account so you all can take a look.
I also finished the front, and removed my doors.
driving doorless rocks!

Im still waiting on people to take me up on my offer to ride the pit around thanksgiving, anyone interested???

well the pit ride was badass! I know what I need to fix, since it was a shakedown ride. heres the list.

1.Front axle sounds like its going to blow up,or at least the pinion does Eek
2.dead batteries suck,must replace with a optima
3.my starter might be going out as well, from being under water so many times.
4. build half doors, cold water sucks
5. dana 60 is in the works
6. bigger tires are needed for some areas 36"s just dont cut it.
7. might switch back to a quadra-junk carb for the steep hill climbs or switch to propane injection.truck stalled twice on a steep hill.
8. lower gears are also needed, once the dana 60 comes its getting 5.13's as well as the 14 bolt.
9.roll cage must be installed before I go back Eek
10. grow a set of balls, some of this terrian is Eek Big Grin

I got some pics in the webshots account.

well I ordered from 4 wheel farts and got some 5.13 gears for the dana 44 and 14 bolt for just over 400 clams with master install kits.

this weekend Im regearing the axles, then when I get my tax return Im going to do a crossover steering with hydro assist project.

other than that one door was cut to the new half door, but I ran out of mig wire so I didnt have a chance to finish it.

and my stock gas tank has a crack in it,thats from the last trail ride.

I'll grab more pics

Ive made some more mods on the truggy. I made a new driver side floor and a rocker panel/rock slider I still have to do the passengerside.
keep on checking my webshots pics, more will be added in a few days

Not bad at all!

From the shape it was in, which wasn't horrible, I love the newer look. Bet it's fun to drive. Love to have something like that
