I have a 74 Blazer that I purchased last year. I have been working on it rebuilding/fixing things and learning quite a bit. I have recently been hearing and feeling a grinding noise coming from the transfer case while it is in the N position. It works fine in 4h & 4l but in the N position it grinds the gears. I also have a smal leak coming from, I believe, the bell housing seal. If anyone can help I would certainly appreciate it. I believe the t-case is an NP205.
Thanks,
Matt

Turns out my t-case is a NP203, not a 205. Any help would be appreciated.

After a bit of sleep and alot of reading I think that the first option is to adjust the linkage in the NP203. If anyone has done this and has some pointers I would apprsciate it. I have a hard time knowing exactly what gear setting the t-cas is in and have alot of movement in the shifter stick.
Thanks,
Matt

if thats a 203 why not build a doubler out of it, 203/205, its relatively inexpensive
