Ok, this is tough to do but.......in ordering my new guitar something has to go to help fund it.
1976 Fender Stratocaster with black hardshell case. This is a rare *hardtail* model. As in, no whammy bar/tremelo bridge. It's a natural finish with maple neck, and a little *cancer* on the fretboard (something every maple necked Fender guitar has that gets played on a regular basis. I actually look for this. It's a sign the instrument is a good player.) I'm the second owner of this guitar, and have had it since 1978. Only modificatiopn is that I've bypassed the tone pots. Which can be cured by resoldering one wire. This actually improves the overall tone, expecially if you use the volume control on the guitar itself. (The tone would get a bit muddy when you roll the volume back.) Take a ride over to my web site for a picture. If you want detailed ones. I'll be glad to take some and send them to you. Asking $1000 plus shipping and insurance. 1965 Gibson Melody Maker with harshell case. This guuitar has been around me house for many yeasr also. In fact, It used to belong to my younger cousin, who bought it back in 1973! I have since modified it with a set of Les Paul humbuckers, a Leo Quan "Badass" tune-o-matic bridge, and updated tuning keys ( I forget who makes them). I have replaced the original *top hat* volume and tone knobs with Gibson *barrell* style knobs. Esentially, this guitar is built like the one Pat Travers used. Asking $500 plus shipping Crate B40XL Bass Amp. Not much to say except it's a good little amp I no longer need. One of the knobs is missing ( and was when I bought it). Otherwise, it's in good shape. Asking $150 plus shipping Next up..Sony FD95 digital camera. Does more stuff than I've been able to figure out! I also have an extra battery to toss in on the deal. Asking $450 plus shipping For you ham radio operators, I have an older Yaesu FT301D with matching power supply. This was Yaesu's early transition from tube rigs into solid state. I think these were made around the mid 70's. It's a 100 watt HF rig, or you can bypass the amp and run it at 10 watts. It will run mobile or base. It's heavy, so shipping will not be cheap. If you live within a couple of hours of the DFW area, we can work out a place to meet and avoid shipping all together. Asking $350...Yeah, shipping will certainly be extra! There's also the chance I will have a 1989 Fender Strat up for grabs. Should be around the $500 price range. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Dennis Mitchell, |

Correction! My dislexic typing skills strike again!
The other Fender Stratocaster is a 1989, not '79. Price is still the same. |

I'd have to remove the redneck mods from the previous owner before sending it up north to your neck of the woods! He felt the need for a Confederate Flag pick guard. Of course in the honky-tonks down here, it's a big hit. Up north...it might not be so well recieved.

Just think, you'd have the only one in the whole state!
For those south of the Mason-Dixon, I can leave the flag pick gaurd on, and send the original one for you to change should you so desire. |

UPDATE:
The guitars are all gone. But, I still have the amp, camera, and ham radio gear. To top it off, I had to buy a new PC last month, and it doesn't have floppy drive, so I can't get pic's from the Sony Mavica to my new computer. |
