I should be able to make it, I dont work weekends so it shouldent be a problem.

Looks like I'm in too. This time I'll get a real cooler so when I hit a rock hard it doesn't spill it's water all over the inside of my rig. ugh.

My credit card is quivering from my though of a lift kit. ha ha!

I was thinking about the Full Traction 4" Ultimate (or something like that) system. It's a little rich, though.

I want to stop by the dealer and see how 'receptive' they are to my 'enhancing' my jeep's suspension, and how that is going to affect my warrantee.

with that lift they would throw a fit!! a 2-3 inch lift is just about all most dealers will take without pitching a fit.

well i can tell you right now.... it will void your warranty. not your driveline though... ie engine tranny etc.. that will be voided when you put on your tires.. you will void your clutch,(which is only 1 yr anyways) you will void your brakes which isnt really covered anyways. BELIEVE ME factory suspension is CRAPPP to begin w/so when you get a suspension lift 1. do it right(regardless of cost"well, whats right for you!) 2. dont think about the warranty because it will only disappoint you when you take it in for something and they say that its not covered.
when i got my jeep in late 96 teraflex was the only one that had a lift for it. it was a 3 incher. the dealer verbally said that if i took it to a "authorized installer" that it would be under warranty, so i took it to dick cepek. cost me 400 bucks to put on the stupid lift(that wasnt put on right anyways). well 1 yr later when i had a prob w/my dana 35.i took it to the dealer. guess what? it wasnt covered. WHY? because i had a lift. i said "yeah but i got it installed from a "authorized installer", so what they said, its not mopar so your pretty much f'ed. dont mess w/your engine, or tranny and your fine w/the drivetrain. a jeep is meant to be built and the dealers havent really thought about that or caught on yet. if you want to build it to have fun like we did on the 4th dont expect to retain all of your warranties...ive spent alot of money on my short armed lift and can tell you from experience that you should go long arm..ill be doing the RE long arm upgrade soon. get a 4.5 or 5.5 long arm from RE. you wont be disappointed THEY'RE THE BEST FOR A TJ RIGHT NOW LONG ARM WISE. some people can debate that and im sure that now people will, but you will see 7 out of 10 jeeps that are long armed will be Rubicon express. let me know if you need any help w/body lift, motor mount lifts, whatever, ill help ya install it if ya need help.. Kevin.

I was mainly concerned with the drive train (engine, trans, x-case, and axles) warrantee.

Russell if i wrer you i would start out small so as to keep you warranty intact for a little while. it's late right now but i will post up in the morning a good course of action imho of course kinda what i did and why etc.

no im not gonna make this one. i dont get weekends off, so it kind of puts a strain on me. even if it didnt strain me it strains the restaurant because its hard to cover my shift. i have to do it every so often. besides i have to send out my bilstein and get it fixed, pay you off, fix the bike, save for my long arm, blah blah blah... believe me i want to go but it doesnt seem to smart right now.... only reason i got to go to big bear was cuz we were closed that day.

dude i hear you i want to get in another ride in between then and now maybe we can get together for a weekday gig, also school starts right after this trip so i will be really hurting for time.
