I installed one of the Novak 2 cell Smart-Stop Low Voltage Detection circuits recently since I'm using a MaxAmps 3000mah 7.4 2S battery. I'm having a problem with it though.

When I throttle forward the motor will not start rotating until I'm about 1/3 of the way in. This results in the motor suddenly "catching" and bursting forward at a much higher speed than wanted or needed. I know it's the Smart-Stop because when I take it out and hook everything up normal the throttle goes back to working smooth as can be.

Reverse is fine though (go figure). So have any of you come across this problem? If so, is there a solution?

I would check the instructions and make sure you did everything right.. I had a problem like that
on my heli with my gyro. It was me not letting the thing setup.

one toucn set ups normally are pretty good although not fool proof .i would check your batterie is charging to full ....... (AS BOTTOM OF PAGE) Novak Smart Stop 2-Cell LiPo Cut-Off Module.
