I modified the chassis and put a Pro-line 05 F-150 body on it, think it was made for the jato.

It is pretty much modified stock parts, Those that have a rustler or know what the actual stock parts look like, might know how much is done to it, so far.

Still need the rx/tx crystals to get her running
and a little more clean up on the chassis/electronics. Then want to run pro-line sandpaws on it for the beach. Want to see how good she runs
in modified stock form, It is pretty light even with a nicad in it. On with the pictures.

This picture shows one thing I like doing to a Lexon body to prevent scratching / rubbing off the paint were the shell hits the chassis.
Easy to do but allot of people do not think about about. A few layers of tap Big Grin

The shell, Pictures were hard to take with lighting/colors of paint scheme and the body is new, just pulled the plastic off the shell today and finished the paint this morning. Was a pain in the but to do the scheme. Have over 8 hours into the design/masking alone,Thats not including painting the darn thing.

Did not come out to much as planed but very happy with it, scheme is not kind to photo taking, but looks good outdoors. Trying not to be to hard on my self, since the body is going to be used and will get battle scars anyway.

Ok on with the shell pictures.

Thanks loulou
It is 1/10th scale. Body is narrow, made for the Traxxas Jato. Hopefully works out good with the narrow body,, running in sand when I get the sand paws and shooting up rooster tails, the Body hopefully will not get to sand blasted.

Going to see how far I can push the stock parts by lightening them. Hopefully lighter weight will help it float on-top of the sand instead of digging in. Lighter weight=s more tq and less impact on parts from hits. I think I can get her down pretty light and get good performance out of it. Will be running mostly on sand so my thoughts are should not be that bad ruff on it.
Not like it is going to be flying of skating park ramps.

If I'm ever able to I will. My mother is the one with all the high tech stuff not me. I'm not sure how, I could even use hers. It is a dvd one. I don't even have a camera phone. I have 3 digital cameras. I'm willing to bet they are close to 8 years old. 2 of them are Polaroid PDC640 other is an Agfa e-photo 780. So I don't even have one of the newer cameras that are able to do video.

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....
