ok adapters i ordered didnt work, they were designed for ttr cvds... which i dont have, i have ttr ball diffs so it uses a similar to stock outer axle (spline and thread) so, i ordered up some of the barrel nuts and then it will work... if you guys are ordering anything, especially if you are canadian, i cant say enough about cpe crawford performance engineering... gets to me in a couple days from the states and charges just as much as if you were in the states, great solid products. anyways, i forgot to tell you guys i am not going to use any hardbody for this build... i bought a porsche cayenne body and painted it with actual porsche paint, it is sick! havent mounted it yet since i need the barrel nuts first. but when i do i will toss a pic up... since i have a 3 channel jr racing xr3 and receiver kicking around, i am going to toss in a traxxas servo to the rear of this clod, to give it independant rear steer with no mods muah, its too easy! haha... that means i will have a full set of electronics for a newbright or possibly... a differnt hobby rig! thinking maybe buy a half finished tlt scale rig and get it running, i dont know! im basically done with newbright shi.t. (other than the torsion) could be selling the enormous pile of newbright stuff i have stockpiled. just keeping you updated

thanks bros the cayenne body was a stretch yeah, but really different and i didnt want to go normal jeep or bronco etc... this thing was extremely capable with the shocks higher than they are right now, and without rear steer and without wideners... now it will just be a beast! i tossed out the second battery on the rear links and threw a stick pack directly on the axles to lose the weight and direct more weight on the front, i also tossed the top chassis plate and moved all the electronics from the top chassis plate to the bottom, if i get some adapters i will throw the electronics on the axles too. this thing will be nuts! i may lower the body a bit when i tweak the suspension more i may make it so it will fit over the top links and be super low... but since its lexan its superlight.. and i dont want to trim it haha, im a bit sloshed and rambling but you wheely king guys know what im talking about! coming up next, a scale rig!

took it out today at a innercity rock spot... one thing i need to do is make the steering links bind less, they seem to have difficulty turning, i think i am going to mount the servos from the rear and that will save me a few mm's to have bit less rubbing, oh, and the rear servo i have is absolutely rubbish, another 945 will be on its way soon... one more thing, mounting a body is HARD, i cut huge wheel wells in the cayenne and it still got caught up and twisted in the wheels, i have to figure out how to mount this thing so it doesnt get rubbed... danmed stuff never stops!
