here are some shots, I'm trying to water proof the heck out of it.......... put tubing across the front, when the battery gets clamped in, it presses the PC chassis against this, cover holes in chassis bottom, running the enclosed liner that they supplied all the way around.......

sorry the shots are not good, I should have used the macro setting

I have replaced the stock pinion ( about 17 I think ) with the one from my WK ( 21 ) to see what happens - - if all else fails, I have an Integy 35 single t that I will pop in...........

I have not re-lubed the diff yet, although I hear that it is recommended. we'll see - have to finish the body work first Big Grin

Looking good, nice color Smile
If you need more of that rubber edging/liner try the door edge guard you buy at the auto parts store. It comes in different styles, colors, plastic and rubber. If you run the RC on pavement you may want to put some on the track.

thanks for the compliment, and the ideas....

have pulled out the diff, and greased it up, all back together - but I can't seem to get the speed out of it that I think I should have - running 3200 mAh packs, and I changed the pinion.... I think it's about time to drop in the 35, and see if more torque will get it to "TAKE OFF" eh Big Grin..

outside of that I'm out of ideas.. everything freewheels fine, no binding issues that I can find... dunno.. will see what happens..

Smile COME ON SNOW Smile da**it ( HA )

Does your body let snow in?

The original Blizzard DX has a sealed tub frame.
It also has the twin 380 high/low tranny.

I leave my Blizzard DX in High all the time and it still climbs anything it's asked to.

I have never had a problem with snow getting inside the chassis.

Good luck.
