i have a 90 xj and just wanted to post a little helper tric that i used to keep 4x4 engaged i took axles out and to see y this was happing i noticed that two axles was rounded where they meet so puull them out and took a grinder to both of them on the ends to flaten back out well did this i had play now so took inner axle and pulled back out got a inch flat washer put behind the axly gear to take out the play this works really well now save me 750 dolars for 2 axles that was rounded of on ends
